The Role:

Reporting to the CEO and Co-founder, we are looking for a seasoned Chief Marketing Officer to join our executive leadership team and help lead Evisort through its next phase of growth.  Marketing is viewed as a key driver of the organization's next phase of growth. The ideal candidate will be collaborative in developing an integrated GTM strategy with sales and customer success, data-driven and results-driven in pipeline generation, and cerebral in developing and telling the Evisort story.  The Chief Marketing Officer will have broad autonomy to develop a marketing strategy, budget, and plan, whilst managing a growing full-stack marketing team.

The Chief Marketing Officer will develop, champion, and instill a rigorous, analytical, and data-driven approach to all marketing activities, ensuring marketing is constantly testing and optimizing all channels.  In addition, the Chief Marketing Officer will operate as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the CEO and other members of the executive team on how to position the company long-term.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and drive company-wide strategies to generate qualified opportunities through the development of compelling, highly targeted marketing campaigns that successfully engage target accounts and accelerate the pipeline for sales.
  • Be a true partner to Product and Sales to foster an innovative and nimble partnership with very tight functional alignment.  Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify company goals, objectives, and benchmarks for pipeline targets and conversion to revenue.
  • Work with sales development, sales leaders, and revenue operations to improve conversion rates at every step of the lead-to-renewal funnel.
  • Implement best-in-class marketing strategies, continuing to elevate and strengthen the Evisort market position.
  • Exercise a data-centric approach to gather user insights and use data to improve future marketing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on high-level company messaging.  Translate market vision into differentiation and compelling product messaging and enable the customer-facing teams to carry their story.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience leading marketing for a venture-backed B2B SaaS company.
  • Possesses the executive presence and gravitas to serve as a C-level executive on the leadership team and present to the board of directors.
  • Bias for action and focused on driving hard business outcomes over activities.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing marketing teams with a systematic, structured approach to sourcing and assessing talent, as well as nurturing them to become best-in-class, high-impact marketing specialists.  Proven ability to set a vision and build/lead a multidisciplinary Marketing team, while monitoring team progress, identifying gaps, and developing potential.
  • Has deployed highly data-driven ROI-based marketing activities.  Possesses strong commercial instincts and acumen, relentless in understanding how marketing activities drive revenue growth and other key success metrics.  Hands-on experience with SEO paid media, and account-based marketing.
  • Excels at building strong collaborative relationships with counterparts in Sales and Product Management.
