We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to develop and execute the company's marketing and growth strategies. As CMO, you will be expected to contribute to the attainment of revenue and market share objectives. The ideal candidate has an exceptional track record of success building both direct and indirect ROI-focused marketing functions and implementing cohesive performance-based marketing programs in high-growth B2B SaaS environments. You will be responsible for leading a high performing marketing team and driving significant growth through innovative and scalable practices in digital marketing, lead generation, market analysis, customer segmentation, and brand stewardship.

Ideal CMO Competencies & Skills
High-Growth Global B2B SaaS Marketing Leadership:
- Track record of success at global high velocity/SMB software companies that have scaled from $20M to $150M+ through digital marketing strategies
- Proven success across all disciplines of marketing including demand generation, marketing operations, and partner marketing
- Has led the development of a marketing ops practice and data-driven culture in a marketing team
- Hands-on marketing leader with a track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top performing marketing teams of 10+
- Experience in companies within the SaaS IT industry
ROI Focused Demand Generation Expertise:
- History of delivering high ROI while driving market expansion through demand and lead generation strategies
- Experience with building highly scalable GTM strategies
- History of creating a repeatable lead generation engine, driving qualified leads into the pipeline, and managing lead nurturing activities
- Expertise at designing and executing B2B SaaS demand generation programs that deliver consistent results and enable bookings achievement

CMO Responsibilities:
- Lead DNSFilter's marketing initiatives, including demand generation, field marketing, marketing operations, marketing programs, and creative design
- Drive strategy and execution across marketing functions to maximizing enterprise value
- Build pipeline of new logo and expansion opportunities within the existing base
- Effectively design programs capable of generating pipeline sufficient to achieve bookings targets
- Deliver consistent pipeline contribution and drive funnel conversion
- Embrace a metrics-driven approach to tracking, assessing, and interpreting pipeline results
- Drive DNSFilter's digital marketing positioning (website, SEO, SEM, digital campaigns)
- Develop messaging, and execution that generates competitive differentiation
- Develop, coach, and grow the marketing team to create alignment, set priorities, instill a culture of continuous improvement, and provide career development to members of the team
- Establish clear KPIs and processes for reporting on the effectiveness of marketing efforts with Board level accountability and own the marketing budget
- Partner closely with Sales and Product teams to align marketing focus to support growth and deliver win rate improvement
- Earn confidence of Leadership Team and Board by consistently demonstrating a combination of strategic acumen, disciplined execution, delivery of results, and timely communication/engagement on key areas of responsibility
Requirements
- A proven track record of building out a strong product marketing team; exceptionally strong in competitive research and positioning
- Demonstrated success in both channel and B2B mid-market/enterprise sales
- Rigor around financial planning and metrics, producing pipeline forecasts, and understanding and justifying budgets
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- An analytical mindset driven by the quantitative tasks in marketing such as user acquisition strategies, economics, and growth optimizations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This includes efficient communication and the ability to get things done with minimal effort
- The ability to understand a complex GTM strategy that includes channel, mid-market, and enterprise sales

The hiring range for this role is: $276,000 to $325,000 USD Annually.
DNSFilter is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The hiring base pay is dependent upon many factors such as level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and/or geographic location. As a fully remote company, our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. and global geographic markets. We pay differently based on those defined markets.
