Displate is a global marketplace specializing in creating one-of-a-kind metal posters. Due to its physical and digital nature, it is also a very complex product, facing diverse challenges on its way to becoming a Unicorn ($1B valuation). Our 200% y/y growth has already earned us a position among globally renowned market leaders and led to one hundred million dollars in revenue in 2020.
The numbers don’t lie: 9 million Displates sold so far to 3 million customers from 55+ countries. All achieved in cooperation with a strong community of 40.000 artists and 200+ of the most famous brands in the world: Star Wars, Marvel, NASA, Manchester City, CD Projekt RED and many more.
As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead the Marketing team at Displate, your tasks will include:
- Manage budget of >50 mln USD.
- Lead team of professionals including: performance, loyalty and engagement, design, brand and communication, organic traffic, and influencer marketing teams.
- We are a D2C brand - every major aspect of the business is under our control. You will be working directly with BI, Product, Design Lab (new products), Marketplace, Business Development, and other teams.
- Co-create company strategy directly with the board.
- Plan and execute partnerships with the biggest influencers (i.e. PewDiePie), events (i.e. Comic-Con), esport teams (i.e. Liquid), and brands (Disney).
- Create content together with internal (we have our own studio) and external partners.
- Prepare new launches together with our brand partners (Disney, Netflix, Ubisoft, itp)
- Optimize sales and margin.
- Choose our marketing tech stack.
- Be in contact with our community.
Requirements
- Well-rounded marketing or business development experience in positions of increasing responsibility - with a focus on digital marketing expansion- as well as experience in a leadership role
- Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product, and service management
- Knowledge of omni channel conversion attribution
- Knowledge of performance channels such as Google, Facebook, Instagram, E-mailing, etc.
- Strong experience in international marketing
- Working with 7-digit monthly marketing budgets
- Superb both analytical and creative skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate customer advocacy
- Deep understanding of changing market dynamics
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Fluency in English, and by that we mean absolutely perfect English
- Experience in e-commerce in a similar position.
